GSA^TM

GSA (Gas Well Sandstone Acid)^TM is an acid system designed to alleviate formation damage in sandstone gas/condensate reservoirs. In addition to hydrochloric acids, the GSA blend contains organic acids that allow for deeper penetration into the formation and more efficient cleanup. These organic acids also work synergistically to retain iron into solution. GSA contains clay stabilizers and agents that minimize damage from clay swelling and fines migration, and solvents that help suspend and disperse fines.
